Pathology Department
Tissue, organ, blood, fluid, microbiology, chemical pathology, and transfusion medicine support.

Overview
Specialist care with clear clinical pathways.
The pathology department involves the examination of tissues, organs, and bodily fluids in order to study and diagnose disease.
Our surgical pathologists are subspecialized experts in areas such as breast, gynecologic, genitourinary, head and neck, pediatric, gastrointestinal, bone, soft tissue, and other body sites.
Clinical pathology includes lab-based services and specialised testing on tissue and fluids to identify disease, including microbiology, chemical pathology, and transfusion medicine.
In addition to the work we do in the pathology clinic and laboratories, pathologists are available to help patients understand their pathology reports and serve as consultants to other physicians.
