The Department of Emergency Medicine team of clinicians, registered nurses, and specially trained staff are available around the clock to treat anyone seeking emergency medical care.
The department manages ear, nose and throat, eye, dental, orthopaedic, and minor emergencies. It also manages a 24-bedded Emergency Observation Ward, including a seven-bedded Emergency Cardiac Care Unit.
A 24-hour one-stop Emergency Department supports resuscitations, critical emergencies, and ambulant minor emergencies. Critical cases include acute coronary artery disease, pneumonia, acute abdomen, bronchial asthma, strokes, toxic ingestions, and major trauma.
